Catan The First Island for Windows PC.

This was the first digital version of the Catan board game and was only released in German. The game was designed for running on Windows 95/98/ME and was released in 1999.

This CD-Rom version of the game allowed you to choose from 8 different computer opponents of 3 varying strengths. As well as playing the game you could also run a campaign consisting of 12 levels.

The advertising for the game indicates there are some fun features not in the board game. The blurb includes "Discover new island worlds, witness the demise of the island Catlantis, settle dangerous volcanic and glacial areas, and build the Wonders of Catan."
