The map of Noord-Nederland depicts the three northern provinces of The Netherlands. The map was created with approval of 999 Games and Kosmos and was released as a limited edition of 500 for Noorderspel09.

The map features the capitals of the three district as trade cities. and these act as harbours allowing trade and wildcard production. Instead of mountains this map features swamps, which are more accurate to this flat part of the country. The artwork for this very rare and unusual map was by Rosa van der Kamp.

I found a number of these maps in original unfloded condition as part of the Netherlands collection.
