I bought this from a German ebay seller who advised they got the set in Essen when playing in the world's largest Catan game. While I am unable to verify this I have no reason to doubt the claim. If true then it is a cool piece to have.

The largest game was held in Essen on October 10th, 2015 and there were 1,040 players.
