One of the very common questions asked in various forums is "How do I know what version of Catan I have?"
On this page you can select the base game, the base 5/6 player set, and then each of the major expansions to see images of each box. Within the expansions there are also images of the 5/6 player extensions. Please select from the following:

The first are the American plastic boards, the second pics are the European wooden boards. Both come in 4 player and 6 player options.
Small Box - actually numbered inside so do not know how common this is. Cheap materials but nicely made.
Small Wooden Box for the Catan Card Game - Just superb but never seen one for sale.
Large Wooden Case - more pics below.. I got three of these and used one to build my daughters first Catan set.
Space for 6 players. Came with the bags and has quite a bit of space.
Has really nice magnetic covers to stop everything moving around when being carried. Obviously a bit old by the wear on the straps, but I am in the process of replacing these.
